Dame Valerie Adams

 

Task Description: Kia ora, today I wrote a few things about Dame Valerie Adams. I wrote what her challenges were, What I already knew about her at the start of the term and I want to also learn how she trains. It was nice making this information graphic poster. I also drew some pictures( Only The stickman and stickwoman). But the most part I enjoyed about this task was writing about her. I'm am going to be learning more stuff about her and the Olympics this term.

I know back in BC and AD wrestling and other sports in the Olympics you had to be naked.

Immersion Assembly

Kia Ora, Today was the immersion assembly for term 3 year 2021. I'm going to start from the top instead of the bottom like I usually do. Team 5 (Year 7&8 Team) did NZ vs AUS vs USA. I really liked this team because the team teachers where really funny and made us interact with there skit.

Year 4 did a race and there are 5 teachers in team 4 so 1 of them were a teacher and the other were pretending to be students. While the fit won the race and tried the lazy ate and just did nothing. But in the end they all switched to a healthy diet.

 

A brief explanatory about what happen was that all the teams basically told us to eat health workout and do healthy things.

Maths Olympics!!!

 

Task Description: Hello, Today me and my maths class did a maths tournament type of thing. You had to figure out the answers to the maths questions, Every answer you get you also get points. I think my group which had Myself, Aaron, Nina, Valessa and Kiarah won ( The reason I think my group won is because I got sick and went home but before I went home I check the leader board and we were 200 points ahead everyone, 200 is a lot of points )  . In the question above me we had to figure out a answer that had no numbers that the question had. My friend Aaron solved it. In this maths session we had to cooperate and use active listening. Description: Hello today I was sick so I decided to create some music. It took me about 30 minutes to created all of these music above me. Fractions Recap

 

Task Description: Today me and my class did a fraction recap. I forgot most of the things because last time I did fraction were 1 and a half years ago. We used a lot of think because we did not know what a improper was. I learnt how fractions are similar to decimals. I also worked with my friend Bradley. One of the things that made me confused was the improper. Have a good day!

 Kia ora, My name is Rae Jae and I am a year 8 at Pt England School.  This year my math and home class teacher is Mrs Stone, And Mr Moran is my literacy teacher.

One of my hobbies and interests are Soccer. I play soccer with my friends and other schools. My favourite subject at school is reading, My favourite book is gangsta granny by David Williams.

When i'm old enough I would like to become a safety officer or an inventor and invent something that would change the world.

This year feels like a good year. My goal for this year is to up my reading level.
