Task Description: Kia Ora, In today's class I learnt some verbs in Te Ao Maori. It was fun doing this task because of Amo. As you can see in the slides , Amo is the main subject.

Kia Ora, Today with Mr Ferguson and Room 4 home class we did a challenge of commenting. Kiarah won but at least I tried :).

It was heaps of fun to do this challenge with my class. 

Equivalent Fractions

 WALT: write equivalent fractions.

Task Description: Kia ora, today at home I learnt about equivalent fractions. A little of the question were hard to do since I had no teacher to explain to me what a the numbers meant. But I did some research on google and tried to do my best! If I did do anything wrong please correct me. I defiantly think that fractions is the most confusing basic operation for me so far. I'd like to give this a try again at school. Hopefully next time I'm better than me now. Thanks, Please leave a positive comment on my blog!

Mars interesting facts 

Mars is such a fascinating planet because Mars has the biggest and most significant mountain in the solar system called olympus mons. Olympus Mons is 3 times bigger than Earth. Mars is almost inheritable by humans, that's because Mars is on the edge of the goldilocks zone. Overall, Mars is cold, its average global temperature is around -80 degrees Fahrenheit. It has a much thinner atmosphere than Earth.

Mars does look hot but its temperature is actually very cold.The average temperature on Mars is minus 80 degrees Fahrenheit. In orbit, Mars is about 50 million miles farther away from the Sun than Earth.  Mars might reach 20 °C (293 K; 68 °F) at noon, at the equator, and a low of about −153 °C (120 K; −243 °F) at the tops and bottoms. 

Is Mars inhabitable yet? 

Mars is the closest planet we’re got to a backup planet. Reason is it's on the edge of the goldilocks zone. Mars isn’t too hot or too cold, This is one of the things needed for humans to survive. Mars needs terraforming (Terraforming means transforming mars to become a similar planet to earth) because if we did not have air we could not live.  Mars has systems of air, water, ice, and geology that all interact to produce the Martian environment, which is good because we do need the Atmosphere and hydrosphere. Mars is almost habitable for humans; we just need much more complex things. (Here’s a link further investigation) 

Conclusion

Mars looks hot because of its red and rusty colour but it's actually cold ( Don’t judge a book by its cover?). The planet is the closest to being habitable. What does this mean for us? We could have an extra backup planet for humans to live on. Mars is an interesting planet so have a go at learning more about Mars because someday it might be habitable!

He pulled the phone as hard as he can but the Tentacle monster gots it.Went to his cave then Sam followed him.To be Continued…..
