Literacy Planet is a fun site where you can do spelling and comprehension. You can read then answer the questions or you can do spelling test. Literacy Planet is a bit like math whizz but its Literacy. One of my favorite things about Literacy Planet is that you can study the pre assessment before you do the real assessment. It has helped me a lot.   

 Gem/Point System: 

Literacy Planet has a Gem/Point System where you can buy outfits and look good. You get 1 gem for every 10% of your assessment, for example if you get 70% on your assessment you will get 7 gems. So make sure to get 100% on your assessments to get the maximum amount you can get.

Arcade games

There are also fun arcade games you can do (Battle Rocket, Code Phrase).  

Notes: Literacy Planet's lowest year level being 1 and the highest being 11.  

L3 DMIC SUBTRACTION independent tasks

Task Description: Kia Ora, In this task I learnt more about decimals and subtraction. There were three levels but I decided to only do the last one.

Task Description: Kia Ora, Today I calculated how much Mr Jacobson Bikes every week. It was fun because I has to calculate decimals to. Im sure I am correct, however if I am incorrect please tell me. I would really love to learn more about decimals.

Task Description: Kia Ora, Is this activity I complete a intro to Pythagorean. It was pretty simple but one of the questions got me.

Dame Valerie Adams

 

Task Description: Kia ora, today I wrote a few things about Dame Valerie Adams. I wrote what her challenges were, What I already knew about her at the start of the term and I want to also learn how she trains. It was nice making this information graphic poster. I also drew some pictures( Only The stickman and stickwoman). But the most part I enjoyed about this task was writing about her. I'm am going to be learning more stuff about her and the Olympics this term.

Chrome Lab Music - A simple doodle

Task Description: Kia Ora, Today on Chrome Lab Music I created a little doodle. I call it "OreoMcFlurryWithChicken". Its really nice. I think that anyone would be able to create a nice doodle like this one. It was really is to make. By the way, BeepBox is still a better choice if your wanted to make a nice 'song". 

I'd use beepbox to be honest, But still this is a great site to use?

ANZAC Day - We will remember them (Google Slides)

 

WALT: Learn about ANZAC day and why it is so important in our history.

Task Description: Today I learnt about the about Anzac day and drew a poppy flower. It was great learning more about New Zealand's history. You I also read a lot of poems and books. I didn't understand one (probably cause i'm to young). One of the mains things I learnt about the Anzac's is that they arrived at the wrong beach (Gallipoli). And the enemy's got the high ground advantage. I've also learnt that the Anzac's are the best army. Are you going to celebrate Anzac day?   

The Fart Battle

The Fart Battle (TFB)

One day the kfc toilet exploded, Here’s how. Stonks Guy was busy farting in the toilet, when Robert suddenly challenged him to a farting battle. It was the battle of the century. 

The champion a bald, tall man (Stonks Guy) versus the Bald, Short, Fat and 174 win streak guy (Robert). They each got ready. The audience was cheering for Stonks Guy.  Creig (The refere) was counting down. “5, 4, 3 , 2, 1 GO!’’ 

 “Pfft” “Pffft” “Pffffft”. Stonks Guy was off to a lead. Robert used his secret weapon (beans). “PFFFTTT” Robert was catching up. Stonks Man was getting worried that this rookie might end up beating him.  Robert Keeps farting. He farted like he has never in his life.

Stonks Guy smiles then uses his power up (Cabbage). BOOM! The toilet explodes. The wall was covered in brown stuff.. Creig announced Stonks Guy as the winner. And that's how the toilet exploded.

 Crieg says ‘Hey do you guys want to compete in a farting tournament?’

(A farting tournament is a battle royale between 50 people) They both accept. 

Stonks Guy is training, As well as Robert. The adventures continues for the three friends...
